WOMEN | OMEN 2019
In “WOMEN | OMEN”, Alves interviews, photographs and engages with Women from an array of different cultures. Through these intimate documentary experiences, Alves creates intricate and layered portraits in various mediums, continuing her exploration of current social and cultural issues present in past bodies of work. The artist aims to connect strangers and the audience through their life story, revealing their differences but highlighting their similarities, showing that every story is important and worth to be told.

The audience can share their own stories while seating on a life size floor pillow made out of shape of the interviewed women (muses).
